I haven't heard anything from Jose for a while so I don't know where he's at. But i'm breaking my head and PC trying to figure out what to do for the outside. Do we settle on this proposition? https://kbn-team.forumotion.com/project-discussion-f5/outdoor-concept-animation-t34.htm

It's not exactly pretty and i would like some feedback on what everyone thinks.
And btw Except for Jon and I, It's been terribly quiet 'round here lately. Lack of interest or what?

I had a sort of a minor burn-out not too long ago, plus a some other stuff happening, and I have barely even touched a computer in weeks.

I'm just now starting to get back in the swing of things.

I really wish I could have been able to help more on this project.

I do like the animation that you have linked, if its the one I think it is. I can't seem to get to it now.

I know how you feel Zyzzy, we just built a chicken coop that took quite a while and I am also studying for the software development tests right now so my time is limited at best. My blender will power even more limited.

So, the latest thing is this: http://www.vimeo.com/5006552
(at password screen just hit forward, password is " " ) Shocked Embarassed Very Happy

Jon and I both figure that the whiteout is too short and not quite bright enough. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

006: Discovery
00.100
The camera is behind the newbie and you can just see a halfbust* of the newbie. This cut starts just before Kernon opens the door. One second into the cut, the door opens** and the newbies is blinded by the bright light streaming from the hallway. Kernon is just a silhouette for a little bit.
*In this case, a halfbust is a view of the newbies shoulder, and part of his head.
**This will be the exact same animation as in Cut 005 just from a different angle.

It does seem short.

not sure what to do with it though.

it seems to me that maybe the light should stay "blinding" until K steps in front of it or something like that.

I dunno.
