Hey guys,

For the opening credits, I like Radial's idea - I think it works perfectly!

I had another idea related to it, you know how in movies there is the "alliance" or "new line cinema" animation before every film? I thought we could create something similar for Blender Newbies.

I had a really simple idea, we have a box in blendernewbie green (obviously), the top of it pops open like a jack-in-the-box so we get the logo for blendernewbies and like pop-corn a single video reel pops out of the box and rolls in an arc around towards the camera falling flat just infront of it.

The camera then pans out slighly revealing the title - "a Blendernewbies production" or "in association with..." or you get the idea...

Yay? Nay? opinions please!

Myrmedon
PS: Perhaps this could be our closing instead of opening animation??

That's not a bad idea! I like the film reel part, but I'm not sure how a box would fit in. Probably is possible, would just have to mess with the idea.
It would probably fit in better in the beginning.

One other things: Who are we? Laughing

Technically we're not "blender newbies". I'm not quite sure how that would work.

I shall ponder away about our identity... who am i? why am I here? what is my purpose in life?

maybe we can take a vote on the name and leave th rest out Laughing

scratch we are Newbies using Blender. But somehow calling ourselves blender newbies doesn't sound right.
