Kernon's Desk
In the script that we have at this point, we have Kernon hard at work at his desk. But so far, there are a few things that are unclear such as
1. What is he doing,
2. What does his desk look like
3. Etc
Here's what i am thinking, He's working at a desk such as This one. I'm not 100% sure if that will work but we can always change it if you have a better idea. Also, there could be a desktop PC screen on the main section of that desk but on the wing, there will be a laptop. Kernon will be working on both switching back and forth. Comments?

Re: Kernon's Desk
Link isn't working for me.
I think the simpler the better, my desk at home is quite literally a plank of wood on four legs - no carving no frills.
We could have it so that there is a laptop on the desk that kernond is working from.
Reason for laptop is this allows forthe "lifts head" action when he gets interrupted.
We can also have him typing away, working on the forum presumeably... this also allows us to cut down on the actual animation work as all we would need are typing sounds with some minor arm movement.
On that note, anyone know a good repository of sounds??
Cheers,
Myrmedon

Any ideas on the desk? We should slowly start making that.

This isn't me or anyone i know, but these desks were at Microsoft during my father's time there, and they were simple

Re: Kernon's Desk
I've actually got a desk and chair that I had made for another little project I had started.
It was going to be a sort of "film noir" type look with a Private Investigator's office, like Sam Spade or Philip Marlowe, or one of those old movies from the 30's and 40's. I was planning on a black and white render with a lot shadow...
anyway, I digress, I made a simple desk and chair. It's an older style desk, no drawers or handles, I had planned on rendering from the back-side of it.
Of course, I don't have it with me, but I will try to get it and upload it tomorrow and anyone can check it out and see if either would work this project.

The desk and chair .blend is hosted here: http://myfreefilehosting.com/f/0df6fc95c8_0.19MB
It will not hurt my feelings if we decide not to use either, it was just something I already had made.

Re: Kernon's Desk
If no one has anything against it, i think we can use Zyzzy's desk. it's pretty good, simple, fits to the style of an office desk. I might modify it a bit, but not too much.
